How certificates are anchored
What is recorded
The public record contains the certificate ID, campaign reference, metadata hash, certificate hash, issue date, issuer reference and optional tier. A donor wallet is included only after explicit consent.
What is protected
Email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, private notes, exact donation amounts and student recipient details are not written to the public record.
Network configuration
Local development uses a mock public record. Testnet issuance is designed for Base Sepolia first, with Base mainnet and Polygon networks kept configurable.
